Loading the sample bakery data
This article helps you explore MakrPrep with realistic data instead of starting from a blank account.
Steps
- Open Settings → Data → Sample data.
- Click "Load sample bakery", available any time, not just on a brand-new account.
Use "Show welcome guide" next to it to relaunch the app's onboarding walkthrough.

What to expect
Loading sample data seeds a working set of ingredients, recipes, components, customers, suppliers, and a few days of orders, so you can explore with realistic data whenever you like.
Common issues
- Want to start over after loading sample data, use "Reset account data" in Settings → Account controls, which wipes recipes, ingredients, orders, customers, suppliers, and plan state (your settings, pricing tiers, and login stay).
