Why does my row show "splits ≠ making"?
This article helps you fix a Production Plan row flagged because a split doesn't add up.
Before you start
Applies only to rows you've split into child rows.
Steps
- Open the flagged row and review each split's quantity.
- Add them up and compare against the parent row's making value.
- Adjust whichever split is off — often the last one added, or one left at zero.
- If they look correct but the flag persists, check for a rounding gap between whole-batch splits and the exact quantity actually needed.

Common issues
- Splits add up but the flag won't clear — confirm you're comparing against the row's current making value, not an earlier one, since new orders can shift it after you've already split.
