Managing orders

This article helps you create, filter, and progress orders.

Before you start
Have at least one customer and one recipe set up.

Steps

  1. Open Orders. Bulk upload, Export CSV, Expand all/Collapse all, and "+ New order" sit at the top.
  2. Create a new order: customer, due date, status, and line items (recipe, quantity, and tier, with unit price filled in from the tier and editable per line).

  3. Toggle "Hide complete" to show or hide orders whose status is flagged "Hide by default when reached" (set per status in Settings → Order statuses).
  4. Filter by Customers or Statuses, and Group by.
  5. Orders with no customer show as "Walk-in Customer."
  6. Each order row shows its date, status, total, and Profit. Expand a row to edit its line items, status, and notes.

What to expect
Profit shows directly on the Orders list itself, not just inside an individual order.

Common issues

  • Can't find an order I know exists: check "Hide complete" isn't hiding it, and that the Customers/Statuses filters aren't narrowed from a previous session.
  • Order missing from the Plan: check its due date falls inside the Plan's current date range.
