Creating your first order and seeing it on the Plan
This article helps you place an order and see it show up in production planning.
Before you start
Have at least one customer and one recipe set up (see "Adding your first customer").
Steps
- Open Orders (under Plan) and click New order. Pick a customer and a required date to create it.
Expand the order and add line items: recipe, quantity, and tier (unit price fills in from the tier, editable per line). Set the order's status from your own editable status list, and add any order-specific notes (separate from the customer's own standing notes).

An expanded order showing Customer, Due date, Status, line items with recipe/quantity/tier/price, customer notes, and order notes - Open Production Plan, your order contributes to a row keyed by the combination of date, recipe, and customer.
What to expect
Each customer gets their own row for a given date/recipe rather than being pooled together, orders with no customer use "Walk-in Customer."
Common issues
- Order doesn't show up on the Plan, check the Plan's selected date range actually includes the order's date due.
- Expected to see combined totals across customers, every customer gets its own row for the same date/recipe.
