Managing suppliers and customers
This article covers the Suppliers and Customers screens (both under Workspace).
Before you start
None.
Steps
Open Suppliers: name (unique, required), email, phone, and notes. All fields besides name are optional.

Suppliers screen showing Name, Email, Telephone, and Notes columns Open Customers: name, default pricing tier, email, phone, and notes.

Customers screen showing Name, Email, Telephone, Default Tier, and Notes columns Customer notes here are the standing record. They show up read-only on the Orders screen, and can only be edited from Customers directly, not from an individual order.

What to expect
An order's own notes are separate from a customer's standing notes. Editing one never touches the other.
Common issues
- Tried to edit a customer's notes from an order: that field is read-only there by design. Go to Customers directly to change it, and use the order's own notes field for anything specific to that one order.
- Order used the wrong tier: check the customer's default tier. It feeds the recipe's real per-tier price at the point of ordering.
